In 2020, Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Department of Social Services expanded the overnight shelter to operate 24/7 and 365 days a year.

The shelter serves single adults only. It’s operated by the Department of Social Services. Residents first arriving at the shelter complete an intake process and are assigned a caseworker to help the residents.

Today the Cooperative Council of Ministries partners with the Department of Social Services to provided meals at the Center throughout the year.
