The CCoM, Servants at Work, Inc and the Department of Social Services opened the Bill Mehr Drop-in Center in May 2002.  The Center is operated by the Department of Social Services, but supported by the CCoM and Servants at Work, Inc. This center is a place where people who are experiencing homelessness can get services The Bill Mehr Drop-in Center provides meals, showers, clothing, opportunities for spiritual and social interaction as well as assistance in mental health, employment, education and housing needs through referrals, programming and partnering with other agencies who provide services.

Due to COVID-19, the Bill Mehr Drop-In-Center is temporary located inside the Ferlazzo Building, at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
