Banquet for the homeless drop in center

The 2nd Annual Bill Mehr Drop in Center Banquet

Woodbridge, Virginia, October 1, 2016: The Cooperative Council of Ministries is hosting the 2nd Annual Bill Mehr Drop in Center Banquet at the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge 13600 Minnieville Road on October 1st, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm. The banquet is to raise money to meet the yearly expenses of the Bill Mehr Drop in Center for the Homeless. The Banquet is also a celebration of the relocation of the Drop in Center. Congressman Gerry Connolly, County Supervisor Ruth Anderson and the Director of Social Services Courtney Tierney will be attending this event.

Mrs. Tierney said “We appreciate our partnership with the Cooperative Council of Ministries. The Bill Mehr Drop-in Center is an important service for those in our community ready to engage with a path out of homelessness."
